• yes i am pretty sure you can go to best buy they have an extra model out that you can try and play with.

• The nuvi 2595 uses a different cable than what comes iwth the nuvi 2597LMT. That being said, however, you can use either cable on the nuvi 2597LMT and still receive traffic updates as well as charge the unit like normal.
