Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Mark, Our current nuvi models no longer have a pedestrian setting. However, one thing you can do is change the Calculation Mode to "Off Road". Doing this will give you straight magenta line towards your destination, which can be helpful by showing you the direction to walk and for keeping track of your distance. To change this on a nuvi 2597LMT, select Settings > Navigation > Calculation Mode > Select "Off Road". You may also want to change the map view to Track Up or North Up, which can be done by going to Settings > Map & Vehicle > Driving Map View. -NM
