The nüvi 2597LMT allows you to customize the data fields on the navigation screen. By default, there are only two data fields at the bottom of the screen, at least one of which is customizable. If the More Data map setting is enabled, there will be four data fields which are customizable. These customizable options include, ETA (Estimated time of Arrival), Distance to Arrival, Direction of Travel, Time of Day, and Elevation. The device will also show the posted speed limit, and the current speed you're traveling. When driving over the posted speed limit, your Current Speed is highlighted in red. The device comes with a USB charging/data cable that connects to your computer for charging and updating, as well as a micro SD card slot which can be used to add memory to the device. Thank you! *CG
