I have the 2689lmt with all the latest maps and software updates installed. It is registered and enabled to receive traffic updates however, the Garmin manual says that the TA20 power cord supports traffic conditions. (I have two power cords that work; tried them with my 2598lmt) Every time I plug my GPS into the vehicle with the TA20 power cord it says that I am using a power cord that will not support traffic conditions (wrong cord) I called Garmin Tech support and they said the TA20 should work, if not then, try a GTM 60 cord. I have not done that yet but, I should have to...any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
