The custom routing on the RV 780 takes into account the size and weight of your vehicle's setup then finds the best route for your vehicle. The device does provide road warnings to keep you aware of steep grades, sharp curves, weight limits and more. To view a list of restriction warnings, please see the owner's manual at the following link: https://bit.ly/3AG3IYu
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although we have this device, we have no yet used it. BUT, if the accurate information related to your specific rig ( height from bottom of the tires to the top of your A/C units or the tallest item on the roof), overall length of your rig (truck PLUS the maximum length of the 5th wheel), total ACTUAL weight of the rig (truck + 5th wheel), width of the rig ... then the GPS will not route you where these dimension parameters aren't allowed. It may be that the safest route will be on interstate highways, but that's considerably preferable to being waylaid at a service center to fix/repair/replace a damaged RV!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does show height but it won't help your 5th wheel to pass under them. I am still waiting for that kind of tech.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You enter the specs for your fifth wheel, and it picks the route that allows you to make all clearances. It does not display heights.
