“Does the Garnin unit have to be plugged into the car charger for power when in use? If so does Garmin offer a hard wire kit with or for the unit or will any universal kit work?”

• The Garmin Speak Plus does not have an internal battery and must be connected to power in the vehicle to operate.

• it has to be plugged in at all times, and it comes with the charger and it is long enough to fit in any car.
