• Ye. I use it with an RV770. The post clips into the base firmly and won't pop off like a suction cup would. The base is weighted, and can be moved around on your dash. If you want it to stay in one place, I would recommend double sided carpet tape to attach the bottom of the weighted base to the top of your dash.

• The mount I reviewed is a 4 petaled sandbag unit that mounts by friction and weight. It does not "attach". It sets on any reasonable level service and is held in place by its weight and design.

• The friction mount secures to your dashboard with a combination of weight and friction. There are no screws, tape or magnets. Please ensure that the dash is free of dust and petroleum-based cleaners, you can also clean the bottom of the friction mount with a clean damp cloth.
