Excelent product I am Truck Driver I will recommend

This is a must buy if you have or planning on purchasing a GPS.

I purchased this gps mount not just to hold my GPS but to also hold my iphone. I got tired of the suction cup holder falling off. This mount is so stable and can conform to the shape of the dashboard. Better yet you can remove it from view by just picking it up and putting it away with ease. The only change I made was changing the end device holder with the vice grip type so I can either hold my phone or the gps.

We got this little beanbag holding device for the Garmin on sale for half-price but would gladly had paid full price. Worth every penny.... so easy to use - flexible yet super stable. We have several cars and travel a lot - so this device makes it so easy to transport and move from vehicle to vehicle and rental cars too!

This is the best vehicle mount for Garmin GPS. It is very stable when placed on the vehicle dashboard (as long it is reasonably flat, I didn't notice any move or slide during break. It is bit heavy, but expected and also kind of huge, it is ok with me on both counts. I hope it lasts long.

This works well. Doesn't fall off like window stick-on ones. Stays in place, fits well on my dash in left corner of the windshield. I bought two more for my grandchildren. Garmin fits well on it and easy to position the angle of Garmin. I tried another weighted clam-shell version of a holder and went back to this one. I don't leave my Garmin set up, and this mount is easy to remove and stores well in the glove compartment or center console. I highly recommend this gps mount.

This mount is great , should have done this when we purchased our gps. After a power plug adapter repair to our gps due to the cord strain from the suction cup window mount falling off the window all the time. This mount was the answer . It stays in place under all kinds of conditions. You can mount it on your dash , plus if you need to move the gps for settings etc you can just pick the thing up . Your passenger of course if your driving. I held out in the for years because of its simplicity what a mistake. Just finished 1200 mile drive thr the mountains , back roads and highway to Colorado it never moved. What are you waiting for buy it!

This mount does exactly what they claim. Yes, I would recommend this device to anyone who purchases a heavier GPS. It's either buy this thing, or a new GPS. On the plus side, it is a decent mount that has enough weight in the base to hold the nuviCam GPS. You must remove the bracket from the suction cup and install it on the dashboard mount, which is simple enough. The directions tell you how to change it out. The footprint is a bit wider than my nuviCAM GPS. It has yet to tip over on me, despite the terrible roads around the NYC tri-state area. On the down side, the base is oddly shaped for reasons that I do not yet understand. As a result, placing it on your dashboard means that the GPS will always be at somewhat of an odd angle relative to the base. This quirk seems to be intentional, so I assume that it adds something to stability. It just looks a bit sloppy, that's all. My only other critique is that my vehicle has a slight depression in the dash for holding stuff in one place, which is where I put this mount. The "bean bag" base shapes itself to fit the space fairly well, but the GPS may shake at times. I I have hit a number of road bumps that cause the GPS to record an "event", or accident. The suction cup mount was less prone to false events than this mount. Because it can bounce around, your camera alignment can become misaligned rather easily, which causes numerous false lane drift warnings. Other than that, this device solves the problem of the rubber disk on the bottom of the suction cup being too small, which is what causes it too lose its' grip in the first place. If you do not have the rubber disk perfectly aligned with the plastic base, then a slow air leak forms where the edges slightly overlap, and eventually it loses all vacuum.

Have used the friction mount, coupled to the Garmin nuvi 2455 lmt across Illinois, Michigan and Iowa, and in Irelalnd - great combination! easy to use and adjust in sunlight and varying light conditions. Much better than the fixed suction pad alternative. The mount is expensive but is much more superior to the suction pad.(Garmin suggest that suction pads are not allowed in some States - I'd don't know on this one)

I got this gps mound for my Granddaughter when I bought her a Garmin. I like this design of weight placement vs window suction. It was recommended by Best Buy tech person, and I am glad I got this one. It is easy to set up, easy to use and versatile for placement and swivel of the gps for easy viewing. It's easy to remove and replace for use when storing out of sight with the gps. Can use it on dash or console. It stays in place. It was a good buy.

The suction cup holder which came with my Garmin GPS unit never held on my windshield for more than 30 minutes; the unit would then fall onto my dashboard and/or me. This vehicle mount is terrific in holding the GPS unit and preventing the unit from blocking my view through the windshield. I have purchased another one for my friend, who had the same problem I had with the suction cup mount.

Very happy with this mount for my Garmin GPS. Prior to this mount, I was using a windshield GPS mount. I had problems with that mount falling every now and then. That's not good when you're in the middle of driving. Additionally, there is no more cleaning the inside of the windshield due to the marks left behind. This mount is easy to use and stays in place on the top of the dash while driving. Definitely recommend this product.

This is an excellent mount for your Garmin GPS unit! I have the 7-inch Garmin Drivesmart 70 LMT and this mount is perfect for it. The beanbag base is very heavy and has no problems stabilizing the bigger, heavier 7 inch Garmin GPS models. There is hardly any movement of the GPS device even when going over potholes or bumps. I felt very comfortable driving around with this mount and never worried that the GPS unit would tip over. I would definitely recommend this mount for ANY Garmin GPS device! On a side note, this was my first Garmin Device and my main concern was whether the larger 7-inch Garmin devices would have the clearance on the beanbag areas of the mount. I was worried that the bottom of the GPS unit would hit the beanbags when you tried to move the GPS unit around. But, as it turned out, the mounting bracket attaches to the bottom rear of the device and there is plenty of clearance between the beanbags and the bottom of the GPS unit. So there were no problems.

Easy to use. Sits securley on the dash board. Can be adjusted quickly for proper viewing.

This vehicle mount is the best option in my opinion. It is so much easier and safer to have the device on the dash than on the windshield. And believe me it doesn't budge during the drive. Before leaving my car I secure the gps out of sight and put the mount on the floor by my feet so as not to advertise that I have a gps in the vehicle as a windshield mount does. Be advised that you need to purchase the holder to snap onto the mount. Well worth the money.

I love the ease of using this. My old Garmin was always falling off the window so I bought this. It sits nicely on my dash, I can move it where I want it, very sturdy and well worth the price. Also, no more rings to clean off the inside of my windshield anymore. I don't leave my Garmin in my vehicle and I can sit this out of sight when not in use. I'm using a 6" Garmin with this with zero problems.

I have short arms and was never able to the attach the GPS window mount so it would stay on the window--too hard to reach, so I looked for something to sit on my dash and found this; it is perfect. I can use it, take it down, and put it back so quickly, and, when I don't want it seen by the public, I just sit it on the floor close to the seat. This mount is so easy to use that I purchased one for my daughter to use with her Garmin GPS!

To my surprise Garmin's included mount would not stick to dash. I was looking for something that was not a ugly circle ring windshield mount. I was pleasantly surprised on how well this dash mount holds. It does not move. Even with aggressive driving. And it's really portable. Easy to stash when you go to a mall.Leaves no ugly rings either.

I use this vehicle GPS mount with my 6" Garmin in a lot of different cars and trucks. I move vehicles from dealer to dealer, to customers homes, in state and out of state. When I set it on the dash, it does not move. It is very stable. A lot of windshields are pretty far from the driver and this dash mount places it within reach. I love it.

This is the third one of these that I have bought as I have been giving them as presents. They make your Garmin easier to give to the passenger to make changes while driving. They are portable as I take my Garmin on trips using it in Rental cars and you don’t have to worry about it sticking to the window. I really like this product!!
