• I'm answering my own question because I did purchase this Garmin Mount (bean bag). I'm happy to say it works very well. I tested it this am and had no problem with slipping or sliding.

• If it will fit the mount that came with your Garmin it will fit this mount. The socket receiver should fit on the ball of this mount.
