A:AnswerCan't speak for all GARMINs but my GPS came with a clip on mount and the standard glass suction cup with ball socket. I dislike the suction cup mounts but the clip on mount that came with the GPS works fine with the dashboard mount I purchased.
A:AnswerThe mount does not plug into the ciggie thingy. There is a cord coming from the back of the GPS face. THAT is what plugs in, and you can order one from Garmin that works with the ciggie thingy. THEN unplug the cord from the back of your GPS and plug in the new one. It comes with the correct male piece to perfectly fit the power receptacle.
