“Will the Venu Sq 2 track different elevations from a run? Stairs - e.g. does it have a barometric altimeter?”

I read that is missing an altimeter. My FitBit Versa 2 had one but nope, no "# of steps climbed" type of measurement on this. Still, I like it.

The watch will use GPS for elevation for outdoor runs. It does not have a barometric altimeter. Please go to support.garmin.com where you'll find many helpful FAQ's and video's on the functions of the device. As well, if you still need assistance, you can reach out to a product support associate from that link.
