“Is it must to have Cell Phone to use this watch? Does initial start of this watch asks for any Web site registration and their account is a must? I completely want to remove dependency from Cell Phone and Fancy Fitness Track apps. No Cell Phone Dependency”

You do not need a phone with this watch. I don't always have my phone with me but if you want to read all your data on a larger platform, you need to sync it at least once a day. I love that it gives me an incredible google watch view of the trails I walk and I can share them with others

Completing the intial set up will allow yout to use the device without needing a cell phone. You will just need to connect it to the computer anytime you want to sync the data. Visit www.garmin.com/express to download and install the program.
