• It does track you sleep automatically. It seams it continuously tracks my heart rate.

• Yes it will. It does however have a preset "normal" sleep time that it will default to if you quit moving. It can be adjusted later using the app or logging into your account. I'm not sure on the heart rate frequency but it is enough to produce a good heart rate graph each night.
