• @Thompy Everything you need comes in the box when you buy. It is a USB cable with a proprietary connection from Garmin (see attached pic). You can plug it into an AC wall outlet if you have the adapter (or plug into computer or USB charging station), just like a cell phone. This thing is sweet, I've had zero regrets since I bought it; I'm sure you'll be pleased!

• NO you don't need to buy a separate charging cable of you bought it new in the box. It will come with everything needed! I hope this helps

• Nope, it comes with a dedicated charging cable but you would need some sort of power source (USB charger or computer)
