I found one app that allows this watch to actually have a map on it, and it was terrible (couldn't see much of anything)... That said, it loaded the map from the phone.
There are other maps that show you a route, based on a map/route that you plan on your phone. Not sure if those work in Canada, but I would think they would.
Bottom line, I wouldn't plan on using this watch as a mapping GPS... at least not until better apps come out for that function..
