• The vivoactive HR has the ability to capture and store heart rate data. This information can then be transferred to Garmin Connect and Strava, but the information will not be displayed in the apps in real time. The data can be transferred wirelessly through Bluetooth after the activity is complete.

• The garmin family of products has a social network included. The Vivoactive HR works with your android or apple device using the garmin connect app in real time via bluetooth. I have not tried to link it with other social network apps yet....
