A:AnswerThe small band version of the vivosmart will fit wrist sizes 5-6.75 inches (127-172mm). The large band will fit wrist sizes 6.1-8.7 inches (155-221mm).
A:AnswerYes, you actually have to activate the running timer on it. Hold down your finger on the band until the menu comes up. Hit the running guy, and then hit the play button. When you stop exercising then hit the button again. It will calculate based on your time
A:AnswerThe Vivosmart is water resistant. I have it on during showers and when I swim at the gym. I only take it off once a week for a couple hours to charge all the way. I haven't looked close enough to see how long it actually takes to charge, I just leave it connected a couple hours and it's done.
A:AnswerAccording to the Garmin website:
Small bands are for wrist sizes of 127mm to 172mm
Large bands are for wrist sizes of 155mm to 221mm
So in order to properly judge, you will need to measure your wrist. I can say that you more than likely will need the large though.
A:AnswerTo use the Vivosmart as a heartrate monior you need the separate strap (they sell the Vivosmart with or without the strap -- and of course charge you a bit more for the one with the strap).
