• it does not play music or provide any sound. it does however control the music on my iPhone using pause/play and forward and backward buttons on the touch screen

• The vívosmart HR can connect to a mobile phone to control the music play list. The wireless head set would have to connect to the phone. This device cannot play any music without a smart phone. ~JH
