A:Answer I do not think I am missing notifications with this device (though I purposely turned off notifications from many of my smartphone apps so I can better disambiguate what is happening without looking at either the phone or the watch).
That said, there is no denying a smart phone can do more, as both of my Android Wear smartwatches have tiny onscreen keyboards to type responses or could use Android Assistant with voice, while this only lets you read and do a few stock replies.
If you want 7 day battery life, great sleep and fitness tracking, great visibility in sunlight this is hands down a winner. If you want the most vibrant colors, snappy and customizable interface, or features (and can live with the short battery life), get a Samsung, Apple, or Android Wear device.
