- Answer Sometimes I too find it difficult to connect the charger. It seems you have to get it wrapped around the band perfectly before it actually connects. Usually after a couple tries I can get it to connect properly enough to charge. I hope this was helpful. G

- Answer Yes, as long as you have a phone with bluetooth that allows sharing in that way. I have a Blackberry Key 2 LE and it sends phone notifications to my Garmin.
