A:AnswerHello there - This is a great question. Sensor cooking and auto-cooking use differing methods to cook food items in the microwave. Sensor cooking senses a burst of steam that comes from the food item and then determines cooking time and power level based on that information. Auto-cooking, such as auto defrost, determines cooking time and power level based on preset settings and information that you input (such as the food item's weight). We hope this is insightful. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us - we're always glad to help. All the best, Kelsey@GEA

A:AnswerHi there, thanks for reaching out to us. We do not test appliances on inverters so we recommend you check with the inverter manufacturer on whether that device will run an appliance. Next, for the current we suggest making sure to follow the electrical requirements listed on page 5 of the owner's manual. We hope that helps and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi there - Great question! The cardboard cover on the right top or side wall of the microwave interior is there by design. The cardboard (mica) covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity and should not be removed. The microwave should not be used for any function if this cardboard cover is not in place. If removed, it would require service to replace. We're so glad you checked! -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerHey there, thanks for reaching out. It seems as if you're describing an over-the-range microwave. If so, you'll be pleased to know that all 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. If this is not the case, we suggest reaching out to us on social media so that we can best assist you. We hope this helps! - Guy@GEA

A:AnswerHello,
Thanks for asking! We appreciate your interest in this model and we'd love to provide you with an answer. We found that this model cannot be mounted under a cabinet because it is only meant for countertop use. However, GE model JEM3072SHSS does measure 0.7 cu. ft. and can be installed under a cabinet. A:AnswerHello,
Thank you so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. What is meant by this microwave not having venting capabilities is that this microwave does not have vent fans that will allow it to vent to the outside or recirculate air like over-the-range models. The air clearance is needed for proper circulation so heat can escape. We hope this helps. Mike@GEA
