A:AnswerHi KAF- Thanks for choosing GE! We are sorry to hear this, as it is not what we would expect to occur so soon. The bulb is not consumer replaceable. You may want to check with BestBuy or call GE Appliances at 800-GE-CARES (800 432-2737). Have the model number and serial number available. We apologize for any inconvenience. Keep in touch! SUEatGEA
A:AnswerDon't see why not... You need some room around the cabinet for ventilation, but as long as there is a couple of inches on each side, should be OK..
A:AnswerHi Lucas- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your consideration! The power cord is approximately 39". Also, the power cord on countertop models is on the top right side of the case in the rear, behind the control panel. We hope this is helpful. Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerWhat is your cabinet depth? The depth of your cabinet is an important detail. This unit is 15.625" deep and needs an additional 1" clearance in the rear. GE also recommends placing the unit 3" back
A:AnswerHello - Thanks for reaching out! This microwave is manufactured globally. We don't have the country of origin for this product as a whole as it is produced globally, but it will be shown on the individual model rating plate and on the packaging. Thanks again. -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerThe height including the feet is more than 12" -- I bought one and it was too tall for my 12" space. It was closer to 12 3/8" including the feet. Now I have to return it -- quite the hassle. Not sure if it was the manufacturer or Best Buy that got the height wrong in the description, but they need to fix it.
A:AnswerHi there - Great question! The cardboard (mica) covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity and should not be removed. The microwave should not be used for any function if this cardboard cover is not in place. If removed, it would require service to replace. Thanks for asking! -Mikayla
A:AnswerHi Karen, I am happy to help. You can choose the number of minutes and seconds you want your unit to cook by pressing the "time cook" pad. I hope this helps. Thank you for checking with us. Lisa from GE Appliances.
