A:AnswerHi Nancy- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for considering our GE® 1.1 CU. FT. CAPACITY COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE OVEN JES1145SHSS! The approximate dimensions are (HxWxD)
12 in x 20 5/16 in x 15 5/8 in. You can also view the Quick Specs online: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=jes1145sh_c2.pdf - Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We suggest to allow 3" of clearance on both sides and the top
and 1" clearance in the rear. See the following link for more details: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21668 -
Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerMost likely not, the interior dimensions are 13 inches wide and 13 inches deep. All of the 9 x 13 pans I have have handles so they would not fit inside but I have an 8 x 10 Pyrex dish that fits perfectly. see photos
A:AnswerHello John - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. This is a countertop microwave. It does not accept an undercounter hanging kit, nor will it attach to the wall. It is for countertop use only. If your existing microwave is over-the-range, then please see our over-the-range models. We also offer a couple of models that can be installed from an upper cabinet. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerHello Susy - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The approximate dimensions of this microwave are: 12" high x 20-5/16" wide x 15-5/8" deep. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerI also had an older GE microwave that was 1100 Watts and I had to replace. Yes it has a lower watt rating but seems to cook just as quick or quicker than the older one. I guess this newer one is more efficient. It is also is only slightly smaller.
A:AnswerHi- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Yes, the microwave features Cooking Complete Reminder to remind you when the cooking time has completed. It is a beep that occurs once every minute after the normal cooking cycle has ended. This is different from the 'Cooking Complete Signal' which is 4 beeps heard only once and directly at the end of the cooking cycle. To terminate 'cooking complete reminder', touch Clear/Off or open the door. Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerHello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. To use the Beverage Feature, you would press the Beverage pad once for 8 ounces, twice for 12 ounces, and three times for 16 ounces. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope the control panel will become easier for you to use as time goes by. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

A:AnswerThis countertop microwave does not have a filter. However, microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear, and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge of air vents. We would recommend if you are receiving an error on your unit that you reach out to our service team so they may properly diagnose the issue. You can reach them at the phone number here- 833-426-3393 Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET Saturday – Sunday.
