QuestionOn 07/08/2019, I purchased GE Microwave (JES1460DSBB). For the past two and a half years, it has served me admirably. However, a burning odor began to emanate from the microwave a few days ago, use of the lime juice mixture but didn't work, please advise.

QuestionWhat is the specific model of this microwave? There is a manufacturer's code placed between the DS & BB. Specifically, I would like to know if the model for sale is GE JES1460DS3BB.

- Answer Hello and thank you for asking. When the model is manufactured, these extra letters/numbers are placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. These letters/numbers are used to identify manufacturing specific data when the appliance is made. Should service or parts be needed, these are used as identifiers for the specific appliance. The dealer does not know what manufacturing code he receives on a specific model. You may purchase the model JES1460DSBB. The extra number does not affect if on sale or not. Hope this helps. Questionrelated to model JES1460DSWW. where does it vent? if it on the top, i am afraid that it will blow the air on the cabinet bottom above the counter and will warp the wood?? i have a sharp now that vents on the sides. the new sharp are only 1000watt

- Answer All we need is the replacement oven to replace the white GE Microwave we bought that came damaged on the top and back corner where it is mashed in. It looks like the warehouse may the source of the damage. I still have the box and will return that too. This has been a real nightmare.
