• A:Answer No, it does not require outside ventilation if it is installed as recirculating. The convertible vent means that it can be installed one of three ways: Recirculating (Non-Vented Ductless), Outside Top Exhaust (Vertical Duct), or Outside Back Exhaust (Horizontal Duct). To learn more, see the Installation Types section starting on page 10 of the Installation Instructions, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website.

Q: QuestionIs the lighting that shines on the surface of the range LED? Or Halogen? Is the color rendering a soft white, warm white? I do NOT want the BRIGHT WHITE daylight white.

Q: QuestionWhich GE trim kit is suitable for GE microwave gvmb14s4wss over range? Will JX827SFSS work? we do have the proper cut out space for this microwave so checking on trim kit.

• A:Answer Model GVMB14S4WSS is an over-the-range microwave; because it's designed to be installed over a range, it is not compatible with a trim kit to be built-in. We do have other over-the-range microwaves that are compatible with a filler kit, such as PVM9179RYSS, compatible with optional filler kit JX36BSS. We also have microwaves compatible with being built-in, such as PCHK11S1WSS, compatible with trim kits JX830SFSS and JX827SFSS. -Sarah@GEAppliances
