This linear power delivery helps prevent overcooking on food edges and surfaces, as it delivers constant "soft" penetration of microwave energy into the center of your food. We do not currently have a microwave that uses inverter technology for cooking. We hope that this clears things up! Thank you so much for your question. -Michael
