The JES1657SMSS is designed to be placed on the countertop only. For installation/removal concerns, we ask that you please contact Best Buy customer service.

This is a countertop microwave. There is mo installation. Read instructions, plug it in and you're good to go. You'd have to ask Best Buy about the removal. I picked mine up. I took the old one to a recycling center.
