Hi - The great news is all of our over-the-range style microwaves will fit in a 30" wide opening. We do recommend using the new mounting bracket and hardware that will be packaged with the new unit. Your existing model - JVM1850SM2SS offers 1.8 cubic foot capacity and a number of great sensor cooking features like Beverage, Popcorn, and Potato and much more.
