QuestionHow many lights are included with this microwave and where are they located?I need to know if the lights under the microwave are located on the sides. I currently have a 1.6 and it's 18 years old...just went out. I like extra lighting above the stove. Does this one have am/pm and does it have a vegetable button as well/

- Answer Hello misskarma - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. This unit has one surface light on the bottom of the microwave that shines onto your cooktop. Yes, this microwave also has the AM/PM pad, as well as a Vegetable pad. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

QuestionHow thick is the door?We need to replace the old microwave, which is next to a wall on the left side, so its important that the new unit fits, i.e. when door opens it does not exceed the width of the microwave. Please advise if thats the case.

QuestionI am extremly concerned about the amount of light from cooking lightMy current microwave has two 40 w bulbs illuminating the range top cooking area. I hate to give up this great lighting and wonder how well a single bulb does the job??
