“How many lights are included with this microwave and where are they located? I need to know if the lights under the microwave are located on the sides. I currently have a 1.6 and it's 18 years old...just went out. I like extra lighting above the stove. Does this one have am/pm and does it have a vegetable button as well/”

Hello misskarma - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. This unit has one surface light on the bottom of the microwave that shines onto your cooktop. Yes, this microwave also has the AM/PM pad, as well as a Vegetable pad. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.POSITIVE in all respects. :) Unit has a 3-functioin (Lo-Med-Hi) light [controlled by ONE button] and located directly above the cook top. Bright (Blue in Color) digital clock IS AM/PM. In addition to "Popcorn" :) , it also has "Veggies" AND separate "Potato" buttons !! I believe YOU have found a WINNER !!!!
