• A:Answer The closest comparable replacement model in terms of physical dimensions, cubic foot capacity and features is our JVM7195DKBB. This model comes from the factory ready to be vented outside. We do include the instructions and the charcoal filter needed to convert this model to internal (recirculating) venting. We do recommend using the mounting bracket and hardware kit that will be included with the new model.

Q: QuestionDoes this unit have side panels or is it designed so that the cabinets cover the sides? I have an unusual kitchen and will need to get creative to install it. I have vaulted ceilings and the wall is approximately 7 feet tall with no wall cabinets.

• A:Answer Most OTR microwave ovens can be configured to discharge kitchen air to the exterior of the house, or re-circulate kitchen air. The installation mat require a different bracket that fits on the wall above the kitchen range. We recently replaced ours and were able to use the existing bracket.
