I had the same issue. The display on my HB microwave was so bright it lit up the room! I tried to find a display adjustment, but it was nonexistent. So, I took a small piece of painters' tape and simply covered that panel. I can see what is says but it no longer blinds me by the light!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I fixed mine by going to an automotive window tint business and got a little cutting of their window tint. Easy to install and it now looks great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wish there was. Way too bright.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it's awful. This should be a feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't need the clock. I unplugged the microwave and when plugged back in did not restart the clock. Light out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A thin film light filter, such as the red filter (looks great) removed from cheap 3-D glasses does the trick. For professional results do not tape this to the outside of the display. Instead open the microwave (after unplugging, letting it sit for a day or more), discharge the high voltage capacitor (this is a must for safety reasons), remove the screws holding the control panel, and carefully pull the holding tabs for the control panel to loosen it to expose the display window from the inside of the microwave. No need to unplug any wires on the control panel. Cut the filter to size to fit and, using tiny spots of contact cement at the edges of this inside of the display window, put the filter in (it's best to have the microwave face down for this, having removed the rotating glass plate and roller assembly first). Replace the control panel, its screws and the microwave cover. Done. It would be best if a hard plastic filter were put into this back side of the display window (without glue) during original assembly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cut up those disposable roll up Dark glasses you get at the optometrist’s. Then I used clear packing tape to put it on. Looks great and you can’t even tell it’s there!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I wish it was!
