Q: QuestionMy sensor keeps having an error and does not heat up a simple cup of water for tea. I do not see anywhere on how to fix this error. Most of the time I have to wait a day in order to be able to use the microwave again and for it to heat anything up ?

This is frustrating, we know. The Beverage function on this model is sensor-controlled. The microwave will detect the serving size and adjust the heating time accordingly. To use the Beverage feature, simply press the Beverage pad one time (oven starts immediately). SENSOR ERROR appears on the display if the door is opened before steam is detected. Do not open door until steam is sensed and time is shown counting down on the display. Also, Sensor Reheat is for single servings of recommended foods, 4-16 oz. of any beverage. Use Cook Time option for other amounts. Q: QuestionMy GE Profile micro wave is 36 in. wide.,including a 6in fill the space plate. It needs to be replaced and the current models are only 30 in. wide. What can I do? Also if the charcoal filter is not replaced when needed, can that shut down the machine.

When replacing a 36" over-the-range microwave, you will also need to purchase a 36" filler kit to allow it to be installed in a 36" cut-out opening. If available, the 36" filler kit will be listed in the product specifications. Model JVM7195SKSS is compatible with Optional 36" Filler Panel Kit JX36BSS (sold separately). Q: QuestionIs the mounting bracket on the very bottom of the microwave? My old microwave is only 15 5/8" tall, and if I have to put a mounting bracket any lower than that it will have to be on top of backsplash.
