Yes, this model features MyPlate option that allows you to microwave healthy food choices, such as rice, by servings or with sensor. It also has a Steam option. Use the Steam feature to steam certain preprogrammed foods, including rice. For best performance, please use a NordicWare Rice Cooker/Steamer Bowl.
