Probably the microwave is not brushed nickel but is stainless steel. The stainless is a thin sheet of metal capping a plastic panel beneath. The stainless steel is not shiny therefore appears like brushed nickel.I hope the issue you described has been fixed. I previously had the same model number that was about 5 years old and had the same issue with the microwave not shutting off. The problem is not he door switch as told to me by a professional repair facility and that if used the microwave may catch fire. I have replaced the microwave with a new one of the same model. Hope this issue does not happen again . YTo me 5 years is a short life for a microwave.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
