“I purchased this freezer last week, when talking to the Salesmen I asked if i could use this as a refrigerator as well. I need to keep items cold but not freezing them, he said yes it shouldnt be a problem. I called GE and the rep said yes, not the case?”

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us. The correct operating temperature of chest freezers is -5 to +5 degrees Fahrenheit. Given this information, we cannot recommend trying to use this as a refrigerator for any items that you need to store in warmer temperatures.
