Hello and thank you for the excellent freezer. We are always happy to provide more information about this spectacular freezer. It is difficult to provide a specific amount of time items will stay frozen without power as this will depend on many factors. If the unit is full of frozen goods and the door is left closed as much as possible, the items could stay frozen for up to 2 days. If the freezer is only half full, the food could start thawing in 12 hours or less depending on the opening of the door. If you suspect the power will be out for an extended amount of time, we suggest adding bags of ice to the cabinet. Keep in touch! - JB
