Q: QuestionIf you install the ice maker, can it also be turned off so you can use the freezer for more storage space when not needing ice? How much of the 4.2 CuFt. freezer space is taken up by adding the optional ice maker?

• A:Answer In my the ice maker was installed as an add on. I basically turn it off and use the ice tray for frozen goods instead. My experience with these refrigerators is that the ice maker creates problems. My next fridge will have zero bells and whistles (neither water dispenser nor ice maker) and see if I get better results.

Q: QuestionClearance needed to open door and remove drawers? There are two conflicting answers on this Q&A. One response says the door needs to be opened 125 degrees to remove drawers and the other says 90 degrees. Which is it? Need to know for install near wall.

• A:Answer No, it will hold quarts and very tall bottles. I do think it is not recommend putting milk in the door however on any fridge because the temperatures are a tad lower in the door.

Q: QuestionHow do the two freezer drawers differ? Can the top one be set at a different temperature than the lower one? We have a chest freezer already and if the top drawer could be drink space that would be great.
