You can change the hinges to open from either side.

Hi tctc - The refrigerator will ship from the factory with right hand door swing (hinges on right) only. Reversing the door handles or door swing on a refrigerator is considered part of the installation process. Yes it can, but you have to request it be changed time of purchase and put on the delivery ticket.

Yes when you get it delivered to your house the people who deliver it can change the side the door opens on.

This refrigerator has "screw holes" on both left & right side. So, yes, it can open on left OR right side. 

The box for the refrigerator doesnt have the door already mounted/screwed. The delivery person(s) screws the refrigerator door onto the refrigerator after he opens the box. So you can tell the delivery person to mount the door on the right.

Or, you can do it yourself after the delivery person set up the refrigerator.
