“How come the shelves don't hit the back wall? There is a good 1-1/2 to 2 inches of space where containers or bottles could slip off of and fall to the bottom level. I found that to be very weird. I didn't purchase the refrigerator because of this. TY!”

• Hi Mooveychick - We are sorry to this. There is a small gap of approximately 1" at the rear of the shelf to allow for good air flow. Perhaps it was not properly installed. Thanks for considering GE. Keep in touch! Sue
