“The website function "Be sure your new refrigerator fits. Let's Get Measuring." doesn't work correctly. In it, I entered 34 wide, 69 high. Fridge is 31.125 wide, 67.9 high. Website measuring function says fridge won't fit. Obviously wrong. Please fix.”

From owners Manuel on GE web site it appears that this model requires 3/4” on each side for air circulation (1-1/2” total) plus an additional 2” allowance on the door hinge side for door open 90 degrees clearance. Manufacturers make this really difficult for consumers to make exacting decisions. The dimensions provided for the appliance itself are only part of the equation. I’ve also seen discrepancies between GE web site owner’s manual installation specs and the retailers web site.
