• Hmm,, The reason I took a chance & threw this question out is because there's very little information on this model AND I WAS TOLD BY A BEST BUY CHAT representative that it DID NOT HAVE a heating element which didn't make any sense on a machine that's in this price range..! Thankfully it seems as though someone with GE knowledge has shed a differing light on the question. I am more inclined to believe that it does!

• It has a heating element. Normal is facet temp. Boost is very hot, and there is sterilize setting as well.
