    • Answer Hello, and thanks for your interest in these top-freezer refrigerators! These models use a refrigerant known as R-600a, a natural gas. R-600a is an environmentally-friendly refrigerant approved by the EPA and is also know as isobutane. It is non-toxic but is flammable. Care should be taken to avoid damage to the refrigerant tubing and service should only be performed by authorized personnel.   • QuestionGlass shelves option? If yes, can glass shelves be placed on top of the existing wire shelves or replace the wire shelves? What are the steps to order glass shelves and what is the price? Also, can glass shelves be placed in a dishwasher?
