“Does this microwave really not have an interior cooking light? If there is a light, is it easily changeable from inside the oven?”

Hello Linds - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. This is a very nice countertop microwave. Yes, it does have an interior light which will come on when the door is opened and while it is cooking. The oven light is located within the inside walls of the microwave oven and would require a service technician to be replaced. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

I changed the light bulb in last year's countertop model. Involved unplugging, removing the cover (simple), sliding back and lifting cover off, replace old bulb with new, replace cover, plug back into wall, done. Blew the dust out while cover was off. Watched a YouTube beforehand. Easy fix, relatively quick, no big deal for this 72 year old lady.
