You will experience normal vibration and nothing excessive. If desired, you can purchase some Anti-Vibration pads. It is best to install this on a firm flooring to minimize vibration during the spin cycle. Concrete flooring is best, but a wood base is sufficient, provided the floor support meets FHA standards. This unitized laundry unit shouldn't be installed on rugs. Thanks for checking. Joyce@GEAppliances
