Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. We began offering this particular model in 1/2018 and it continues to be a popular model in our laundry line. We do not have information available as to the average cost of repair. We do offer a one year warranty beginning on the date of purchase to cover any manufacturing defects in material or workmanship.
