Normal sounds include a squeak when the Dryer is started. This start-up squeak should go away after the first few seconds of operation. You should also hear the sound of the drum as it turns. If you hear thumping, humming, squeak that starts when dryer heated up but not when it is cool, or a squeaking that is very short and repeats every few seconds, then we recommend contacting GE Appliances Bodewell Service at (833) 426-3393.
