“For GE Model GUD24ESSMWW (the combined Laundry Center). Does its given 27 3/8 "depth, accounts for the 4" semi rigid dryer vent that needs to be add to the back for outside venting? Do u recommend for it for my laundry closet dimensions of only 31"D?”

No, the unit's depth does not consider the dryer vent nor water lines feeding it. There is an option to connect the dryer hose through the side of the unit, if you have good space to the sides. I think that 31" is good enough if all other dimensions fit the space you need it in, but check with a pro!
