Hello Spacemaker. We appreciate you reaching out. This is a great question and we're happy to help. This unit will not work in a home that will only support 110 V. A new UL-listed 240V 30 amp dryer power supply cord with closed ring terminals or spade terminals with upturned ends must be used.
