“Does this unit require the standard 6” between itself and the wall? I’m hoping to shave off an inch or two. The depth is 27.4 plus whatever space is needed behind the unit. Thank-you.”

Unfortunately specs are not always accurate. As a result I cannot close the bi-fold doors which used to house my stackable w/d which washer capacity was larger than this one-piece unit. I made the disappointing adjustments...no finish cycle signal--but unit is very quiet.

The vent elbow can be turned to vent downward; however, for side venting, there is a side knockout that must be removed for side venting.
